I attended Jason Reynan’s swearing in as councillor, midterm in Penticton, congratulations Jason. Thank you to his family for sharing his time with us. I hope he and the rest of council will remember they were voted in by the majority no matter what “the City” (corporation)recommends and that the oath says they (councilors) agree to be accountable for their decisions.
The Okanagan anthem was sung in council chambers but strangely not O Canada, I said “what about the Canadian anthem”, a few laughed.
I attended two events at Okanagan lake, one on Monday to remember those who took their life and last summer some boating event. Neither sung O Canada, both sang the Okanagan anthem.
If you haven’t heard the province has decided the land belongs to the Indians, when do you say no? Nobody at today’s meeting did.
it’s over when the township unincorporates from the Municipality. DONE – no more funding FRAUD.
A real Mayor can do this now – the Mayor seat is VACANT.
So’s the Office – which is a BANK.
